Help Tech is your reliable partner
for blindless solutions.
Help Tech is a world leader in the design and manufacture of braille devices. We proudly look back on a 40-year history. The company's founder, Dipl. -Ing. Klaus-Peter Schönherr, made computers accessible to the blind for the first time with the invention of the first Braille module. With the dynamic tactile display of Braille by Braille modules, the world's first Braille displays were manufactured at our company headquarters in Horb.
The foundation of Handy Tech in 1994 by Dipl. -Ing. Siegfried Kipke was the restart of a success story characterized by innovation. The team has grown from the original 8 to over 40 employees. In 2017, the company was renamed from Handy Tech Elektronik GmbH to Help Tech GmbH & Co. KG. Help Tech repeatedly sets new standards for aids for the blind and visually impaired with innovations. Today, Help Tech is one of the world's leading manufacturers of refreshable braille displays and has subsidiaries in Stuttgart, Marburg, Cologne, Hamburg and Lüneburg.
